Combat-Proven Patterns

Image Craft is Off to a New Adventure.

Earlier today, we announced our nomination as the exclusive material supplier for Crye Precision and their MultiCam camouflage patterns for adhesive vinyl reproduction. These patterns were developed to effectively limit the visual signature of a person, gear and vehicles to operate across a wide range of physical environments and seasons.

First time in our 30 year history it is our goal to print to disguise and not to be bright and colorful!

Utilizing superior concealment is a key component to a mission’s success. Accurate color matching, high quality material selection and reliable applications are a necessity to optimize the effectiveness of a disguised support vehicle or vinyl wrapped gear piece.

And we are very proud that we at Image Craft have mastered the reproduction of the MultiCam camouflage patterns.

The MultiCam family is available in 5 different patterns:

Up-to-date we have been providing Team MultiCam with exclusive vinyl applications for special events.

Now – There is no limit in what can be wrapped with the new MultiCam decal film by Image Craft.

Tribute to a Legend

An exhibit that showcased Dee Dee Ramone’s talents and the musical career of the legendary Ramones bassist, was held at the Hotel Chelsea Storefront Gallery in New York City. Fender Guitars debuted a preview of the Dee Dee Ramone Limited Edition Signature Precision Bass Guitar during the exhibit.

Image Craft was commissioned by Fender Guitars to build a custom display case for the exhibit. Our fabrication team engineered and built an over-sized acrylic shadowbox to hold Dee Dee Ramone’s leather jacket. The Dee Dee Ramone Limited Edition Signature Precision Bass Guitar from Fender Guitars was attached to the front of the display!

The backwall of the display case was lined with a beautiful collage paying a tribute to the punk icon’s life.

Side pieces built from finished and painted MDO Wood functioned as stand up wings of the display piece. The graphics on the sides imitated brick walls and were printed and applied with adhesive vinyl. This cool application was designed for gallery guests to leave their signatures and share memories.

For those of us, that unfortunately missed the exhibit in New York – a great video of the event is available to share some of the experience.

Amazing Project for a Legend to be remembered!

Fish On – With New Graphics

A happy new year at Image Craft started with the exciting bass boat graphics wrap for the Lucas Oil Marine Pro Team.  These anglers compete and fish in a variety of tournaments in both fresh and salt water. The different environments have to be taken into consideration when applying the graphics and installing a full boat wrap.

Mike Brillhart, the proud owner of the new wrapped boat and trailer is a well known, Pro-Fisherman and competes in the American Bass and All-Stars Tournament circuits.

The Lucas Oil logo was enhanced with red metallic vinyl striping to draw more attention to the logo while on the water.

We are anxious to see Mike out there on the lake and wish him and his Lucas Oil team lot’s of “Fish On”

Extreme Sports with Extremely Cool Graphics

Three riders of Team D56 tested their body and will power at the BAJA 1000 race last month. MultiCAM, the creator of 5 different camouflage patterns, sponsored the team through the tough 24 hour race from Ensenada, Mexico to La Paz, Mexico.

Image Craft was commissioned to help with the Motorcycle helmet graphics as well as supply the wrap decals for the motorcycles. But this project was not just a normal helmet and dirt bike wrap.

Multi Cam-Baja 1000 Helmets

The Motocross helmets were required to be painted with a custom specified orange paint. The shade of orange had to be custom mixed in our fabrication shop for exact color matching.

The adhesive vinyl wrap with the MultiCAMM Alpine pattern requires  extreme color matching to achieve the specific color layers in the correct shades of grey. Thanks to our Pre-Press and Color Specialists at Image Craft we mastered the color combinations of the Alpine pattern.

Wrap and Trim and Assemble – business as usual. And off to the races we go.

The printed wrap film traveled with the team to Mexico to get applied to the Enduro bikes onsite.

Team D56 at the BAJA 1000 was a 3-man relay bike team made up of Special Operations veterans. The BAJA 1000 MultiCam Enduro and one helmet will be auctioned off at the upcoming NSSF Shot Show in Las Vegas to benefit U.S. and U.K. SOF charities.

Great Graphics for an even greater cause!  We can’t wait to be at the NSSF Shot Show with MultiCAM!

All that glitters is not gold…

Our fabrication team just finished an incredibly fun project for the Arizona Lottery.

Job description was to “make a bucket full of gold” – 50 custom-fabricated gold bars. The gold bars are being used for a Monopoly game, during breaks at the SUNS basketball games.

So the question that has been around for ages: How does one make gold?

Start off with solid white pine wood, which was cut and routed to shape in our fabrication mill workshop.

Sand down the wooden blocks, to ensure a smooth surface.

UTI – Universal Technical Institute – Teaching in Style

Chosen by industry

The Universal Technical Institute – “UTI” offers technical programs for industries involving automotive, motorcycle, diesel, marine, collision repair and NASCAR. The nationwide campuses offer fun hands-on training in very well branded, professional environments. The Image Craft team had the pleasure of putting the finishing touches on the UTI Campus in Lisle, IL.

A well balanced branding message for UTI includes a variety of different print and fabricated materials.

UTI Lobby

The lobby at the Lisle campus greets the visitors, students and prospective students with a lasting first impression of the professional teaching environment. Custom printed wall murals on adhesive backed vinyl frame a digital signage display monitor. The reception area is backed by solid wooden dimensional frames which are wrapped with brushed metal adhesive vinyl that has been printed and finished. And a direct to metal printed map displays the UTI locations nationwide.

The classrooms, research centers and hallways are welcoming, easy to find and graphically appealing through custom vehicle wall murals, acrylic dimensional logo signage and cut vinyl lettering.

Testing Center

Soft meets…  hands-on labs. The smooth graphics in the labs are 7 foot long display fabric dye sublimation images that are finished with silicone edge beading for easy installation into the metal display frames. Car manufacturer flags were also printed with the dye sublimation fabric process and installed on an aluminum banner frame system.

Professionally printed, finished and installed – Who would not want to go back to school again and learn in this environment?

Expo – This is how we do it! (the small version)

Day in and day out we design, print and fabricate tradeshow display concepts for clients. So this time it was on us to shine in the expo arena.

Image Craft participated in the local “Business Journal Growth Expo” – where we had the opportunity to present ourselves to clients, prospects and introduce our products and services. We know what we can do – and there is so much of the “CAN do” and so little we can’t – so where to start?

  • Be interactive with the attendees
  • Show off our capabilities
  • Be different (because tradeshow graphics is one of the great things we do for a living!)
  • Make some new networking friends and present Image Craft

Limitations: 8′ x 10′ booth space – (we produce so many cool graphics products – how will we ever be able to fit that into this small space!)

The booth:
10×10 Classic Quadro “S” Pop Up System – 4 panels

THE DAvizz

After the inventor Mr. Davis – our portable lightbox solution with double sided fabric displays – we want to tease the attendees with beautiful food images on one side and classic fabric silicone edge applications on the second side. The lightbox was supported by a portable battery travel pack (branded of course!)
